Auxiliary Worship of Confucians—the East and West Corridors
On both side of the Ta Cheng Palace are the East and West corridors. The East and the West Corridors are like the side rooms of an ancient house, the idol niches inside accommodates tables of outstanding students of Confucius and scholars who have made great contributions in spreading the teachings of Confucius. After the ceremony in Ta Cheng Palace, the Collateral Presentation Officers offer up a sacrifice to scholars in the East and West Corridors.
